Snowmobiling Northern Minnesota
The Gheen Cabin is in an ideal place for access to Minnesota’s extensive snowmobile trail system. In less than a mile down Hoodoo Road and Forest Road 905 is a short trail that puts you on the Arrowhead Snowmobile Trail. The Minnesota trail system extends from Lake Superior to the Red River and from Canada south to Iowa, essentially the entire state. But the best snowmobiling is in the Arrowhead where the snow is deep, the forests are resplendent and wildlife is abundant. Ice fishing is also the best here in the north-woods lakes.
